Problem
Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (HPC) is added as a binder to improve tablet hardness, but it sometimes slows tablet disintegration.

Oily-active-ingredients tablets
Problem
When developing tablets with oily active ingredients, it is difficult to achieve tablets with sufficient tablet hardness and tablet friability. Also, oil bleeding may be caused by pressure in tableting.
Solution
Highly compactible MCC CEOLUS™ with high oil absorption capacity makes it easier to secure the sufficient tablet hardness and tablet friability levels required. Also, it can decrease oil bleeding as it can decrease the pressure in tableting to achieve sufficient tablet hardness.
